PORT HUENEME, CA — Kraig “Bundy” Boyd, whose long career in video and lighting production included shows featuring Rolling Stones, Kenny Chesney, Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond and Janet Jackson, among many others, died July 10, 2015. Services were held July 18 at Lane Funeral Home in Niagara Falls, NY. Video production company Screenworks held a memorial in Boyd’s honor in Camarillo, CA on Aug. 23, 2015.
Boyd, a native of Niagara Falls, NY, graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School in 1984. He attended Fredonia State University in Fredonia, NY before heading out for the West Coast, where he orchestrating video and light shows for concerts and entertainers around the world, providing visual support for major events including the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Bundy’s hobbies included playing the piano, riding his motorcycle and relaxing with his beloved dog, Daisy. In addition to his parents, Ken and Brenda Boyd, he is survived by his two step-children: Christopher Harper and Robbie Davis, two siblings: Ken (Laura) Boyd of Georgia and Kim (Keith Tomczak) Boyd of Tonawanda and four nieces and nephews: Keegan Tomczak and Jeffrey, Amanda and Brian Boyd.
