ANN ARBOR, MI — Melissa Lynn Williamson, a lighting technician with TLS Productions, died June 26 from injuries sustained when she and her life-partner, Coleen E. Huling, 29, were struck while bicycling by a vehicle that left the scene of the accident. Both were killed.
Born on May 17, 1995 in Cleveland, OH to Roy Matthew and Kerri Lynn (Maynard) Williamson, Melissa graduated from Riverside High School in Painesville Township, OH, then earned her bachelor’s degree in lighting design and theatre arts from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI in 2016.
Survivors besides her parents include her twin sister Michaella Lynn of Ypsilanti, a brother Josh, a sister Renee, paternal grandmother Barbara Lynn Williamson, maternal grandparents Dale and Ellen Maynard, all of Ohio, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends.
An outdoor visitation for both her and Coleen was held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home in Milan, MI on July 1.
