PARIS — Valère Huart-Gyors, Ayrton’s export manager, who has been working at the company since 2011, died Feb. 19. He was 37.

On Facebook, the company recalled Huart-Gyors as “methodical, organized and precise,” and noted how he ad “advanced quickly and well, exercising a detailed knowledge of his market.

“Societies and their politics, people and their past, excited him in addition to his many interests such as history, politics, music,” the company added. “Valère was both brilliant and cultivated. His humor, sharp and often caustic, made us laugh.”

Arriving in Paris from France’s Normandy region at age 22, Huart-Gyors’ career began as a salesman for AVLS, then as a purchasing manager for La BS before joining Ayrton to develop its international sales in 2011, helping the brand grow in popularity in the U.S. and around the world.
