SYRACUSE, NY – J. R. Clancy, Inc. was number 3891 on Inc. Magazine's list of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in the U.S. The complete list is published in Inc.'s September 2010 issue. The U. S. Small Business Administration estimates that there are roughly six million businesses with employees in the United States, based on data from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Bureau of the Census, and the U.S. Department of Labor. The Inc. 5000 list draws attention to the top companies among this vast field of eligible businesses.
The list ranks companies by percentage of overall revenue growth over a three-year period. In addition, companies that make the list are ranked by industry, metro area, revenue and number of employees.
