NEW YORK – LDs Ken Billington and Richard Pilbrow have agreed to participate in the sixth annual Stage Lighting Super Saturday seminar series set for Jan. 22, 2011. The one-day series of seminars will include 10 hours of training designed to educate beginners and new professionals involved in stage, architectural or entertainment lighting. A dozen theater lighting professionals will speak, and about 20 industry lighting manufacturers will on hand. Topics covered include beginning stage lighting, fixtures, color, consoles, moving lights, troubleshooting, paperwork and more.
The event starts 8 a.m. at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York, which is near Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
