More details from LaserNet (http://www.lasernet.com):
On June 7, LaserNet projected professional sports logos on both coasts. In Los Angeles, the LaserNet crew from Neptune Productions projected the LA Kings logo and messages promoting the NHL Stanley Cup Finals. Several locations on the mountain sides were used during the week long playoff schedule. The locations that were used took advantage of the close proximity of LA’s heavily used freeways. Projecting up to one-half mile onto a dark colored surface required two of LaserNet’s new Super ScannerPro at 22Watts each that were superimposed onto each other. These full color, RGB lasers worked perfectly to put a legible image on the mountain side for all to see.
On the same day in Miami, LaserNet supported the NBA home team by projecting the Miami Heat logo onto a blank wall next to the busy I-95 freeway. A single ScannerPro, 15Watt, full color, RGB laser was used onto the white projection surface. A loop of images projecting “let’s go Heat” with the logo and a basketball player animation was projected nonstop for three hours.
