It began and ended in Las Cruces, NM, running from June 4-12.
More details from the Long Reach Long Riders (www.lrlr.org):
The 2016 ride featured stops at the Santa Fe Opera, Roswell, Los Alamos, Canyon de Chelly, the worlds largest concrete pistachio in Alamogordo, NM, and Four Corners, where Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah all meet. The riders experienced an ever-changing terrain as they traveled through arid desert, vast treeless plains, alpine meadows and mountain forests. They rode through ranch land, farm land and nothing will ever grow here land, all the while using kazoos to promote the ride and raise awareness of the work being accomplished by Behind the Scenes and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
“Well. That was fun,” noted Loren.
