NAMM, PLSN Offer Hands-On Training

ANAHEIM, CA – If you haven't been to the NAMM Show in a while, there are plenty of reasons for production professionals to go this year. PLSN is providing three educational opportunities to registered attendees at no additional charge.

On Thursday, Jan. 14, there are two sessions for aspiring and professional lighting designers.

 

Power Distribution Basics (10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) is led by PLSN editor and ETCP-recognized trainer Richard Cadena. discussing the basics of designing, building, and setting up power distribution for live event production.

 

Concert Lighting (12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.) features Jim Moody, Paul Dexter and Jeff Ravitz discussing and demonstrating the art of the classic concert lighting plot.

 

 

On Saturday, Jan. 16, there's another session, Touring on the Green, with a panel moderated by Patrick Stansfield and Chris Wango. This will be followed by a cocktail party from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
