The conference, set for July 22-23, features 24 sessions, 11 of which offer AIA/CES Continuing Education Credits.

NEW YORK – Theatre design professionals attending the North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (NATEAC) can begin to choose the sessions they will attend, using the session schedule on the website.
The conference, scheduled for July 22-23 at the midtown New York Hilton, promotes communication between the architects, engineers, consultants, and manufacturers responsible for designing and building new theatres and renovating existing performance facilities in North America and the end users operating these venues.
Of the 24 panel sessions scheduled, there are 11 sessions providing AIA/CES Continuing Education Credits for registered architects. Those sessions include:
-Stage Automation
-Restoration of Pre-Depression Era Theatres
-ADA 2012: Reviewing the 2010 Standards and Their Impact on Our Industry
-Building Code Requirements for Entertainment Installations
-Lincoln Center: The $1.5 billion Renovation
“We are expecting more than 300 attendees, coming to us from more than a dozen countries on five continents,” said Bill Sapsis, NATEAC chairman and organizer.
