FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Students and Early-Career technical theatre artists can gain recognition, cash, and a trip to USITT 2018 in Fort Lauderdale if chosen for one of 14 Young Designers, Managers, & Technicians Awards from USITT. These awards are made possible by generous gifts to USITT from their sponsors in the performing arts and live entertainment, design, and technology industry. They further USITTs mission of nurturing and recognizing excellence in emerging professionals.

The deadline for nominations is November 1, 2017.
There are two nomination options—USITT members (faculty or other non-student professional) may nominate, or students may self-nominate. Winners will be honored and receive their award at USITT 2018 in Fort Lauderdale March 14-17, 2018.
