Obsidian Control Systems to hold ONYX Training Courses on East and West Coasts

LOS ANGELES – Obsidian Control Systems is pleased to be offering training courses on its innovative yet intuitive lighting control platform, ONYX. The 2-day training courses will take place in Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando and New York City and will cover both introductory and in depth topics. Powerful, easy to learn and fun to use, ONYX is designed for use with all Obsidian lighting control systems.

Day 1, an introduction to ONYX, will cover hardware, interface layout and terminology while dealing with basic concepts such as patching, creating groups, presets, recording cues & playback and more. Day 2 will go more in depth, covering topics such as 2D plan, creating FX, macros, networking, and integrating Elation control products with ONYX.

Workstations will include a console, Capture 2018 for visualization, a notepad, pen and a USB drive with training files. Lunch and refreshments will be served. Cost is $125 for both days and a certificate of completion will be distributed upon completion of the course. RSVP is required.
