LOS ANGELES — Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella announced Aug. 2 that the 2020 edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival, which had been postponed from spring to fall after the Covid-19 pandemic hit the U.S., would have to be cancelled. Rotella recently confirmed on social media that Insomniac’s other U.S. festivals this fall — including Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape, EDC Orlando and Dreamstate — won’t happen this year either.
EDC Vegas, postponed to Oct. 2-4, 2020, is now set for May 21-23. No new dates had been announced for the pushed-back 2020 editions of Insomniac’s other U.S. events, including Nocturnal Wonderland (which had been set for Sept. 13-14); Escape: Psycho Circus in Orlando (Oct. 30-31); EDC Orlando (Nov. 13-15); and Dreamstate Southern California (Nov. 20-21).
