The Parnelli ballot includes nominees for best Lighting Designer, Set/Scenic Designer, Video Director, Tour Manager and Production Manager and companies involved in lighting, video, staging, rigging, set construction, pyro, trucking, coach companies and freight forwarding. It also includes the regional winners of the Hometown Hero competition, each of which became automatic nominees for national Hometown Hero bragging rights. And the nominated products for the Parnelli “IT” Awards — in lighting, video, staging and sound — are also on the ballot.
The awards will be presented at the gala ceremony Oct. 20 that begins with a cocktail reception at 7 pm. The dinner and awards starts at 8 pm, hosted this year by none other than Cory Wells of 3 Dog Night fame.
