Parnelli Nominations Close, Ballot Coming Soon; PLSN to Chronicle Industry’s Feminine Side

LAS VEGAS — As the calendar once again lurches from September to October without the luxury of a 31st day, the Parnelli Board of Advisors is busily tallying September’s nominations and working toward the final Parnelli Awards ballot, which should be online later this week. We’ll be providing a ballot link in next week’s newsletter. Parnelli voting will then be open until Oct. 31.

Separately, PLSN’s editorial staff is also gathering suggestions from the magazine’s readership on people we should be including in editorial coverage that will begin with our Nov. 2013 issue. The topic: Women who have helped build the industry into what it is today. To help PLSN chronicle our industry’s feminine side, readers can submit the names of women we’d be remiss to not include in our coverage here: http://plsn.com/wp/leading-women.html.

Finally, PLSN would like to extend a link once again to all those readers who plan to attend the 2013 Parnelli Awards but have not yet reserved their place at the event. For the last several years, the Parnelli Awards have sold out every available seat, and this year’s event, hosted by Micky Dolenz honoring George Travis, Eric Pearce and Mark Engebretson, that trend is likely to continue. The event is set for Nov. 23, 2013 at the Mirage Las Vegas, with the 8 p.m. gala and dinner following the cocktail reception at 7 p.m.
