ATLANTA- SkyView Atlanta chose PPi as its production partner in creating the installed lighting design for Atlanta’s new Ferris wheel, which brightens the downtown sky each evening. The lighting design is controlled by a single Hog 4 PC to enable the client to manipulate the lighting in various scenarios.

More details from PPi (www.productionpeopleinc.com):

The SkyView Ferris wheel stands about 20 stories high and has 42 gondolas. Each gondola can hold up to six people including the VIP gondola, which comes with leather seating and glass flooring. SkyView Atlanta will offer services for private events and parties. The ferris wheel is located directly across the street from Centennial Olympic Park at the south end.

“I’m extremely happy with the hard work our team has put in for this project,” says Levi Bulkley, PPi senior production consultant. “Greg Haygood, Brian Sarlan and Frank Kendall were pivotal in the successful design and installation. Their professionalism solidified the confidence SkyView Atlanta has in PPi. We look forward to working with SkyView on the future corporate and social events yet to come.”

“Our recent production for ACVB’s Centennial Celebration, the upcoming video production for ACVB’s Hall of Fame and now SkyView Atlanta are all prime examples of our dedication to increasing the high caliber of service in Atlanta’s hospitality market,” said Andrew McDonald, managing director of PPi.

“We’re very excited because PPi has given us the opportunity to give specialized branding to our clients and on the same note it will give an offer to our existing local clients that will be visiting us on a daily basis,” said Jesse Lirette, director of marketing and sales with SkyView Atlanta.
