NEW YORK, NY — The Long Reach Long Riders and The ESTA Foundation will host their annual raffle to benefit Behind the Scenes at the USITT Conference March 29-31 in Long Beach, CA. Tickets can be purchased at the Behind the Scenes booth #1041 throughout the show.

NEW YORK, NY — The Long Reach Long Riders and The ESTA Foundation will host their annual raffle to benefit Behind the Scenes at the USITT Conference March 29-31 in Long Beach, CA. The Behind the Scenes Boutique will also be open for business during the show featuring the famous Long Reach Long Rider T-shirts and kazoos.
Tickets for the raffle are $5 each or five tickets for $20 and can be purchased at the Behind the Scenes booth #1041 throughout the show. Winning tickets for eight regular prizes and one grand prize will be drawn at 1pm on Saturday, the final day of Stage Expo.
The prizes, provided by donors, are: Smart Move DMX Gobo Rotator provided by Apollo Design Technology; Technician’s Tool Kit provided by Barbizon Lighting Company; $250 Gift Certificate for gasoline provided by JR Clancy; iPad2 16GB provided by Musson Theatrical; $250 Gift Certificate to RoseBrand.com; $250 Gift Certificate at Sapsis Rigging; full-conference registration for the USITT 2013 Conference & Stage Expo; three pairs of tickets to the 2012 season of the Utah Shakespeare Festival, plus a poster, commemorative 50th anniversary book, and a denim shirt. The Grand Prize is Spotlight with Renderworks provided by Nemetschek Vectorworks.
Pre-drawing activities will include the kazoo parade, some swag give-aways, and a live auction of two tickets to the Broadway production of Nice Work if You Can Get It along with a backstage tour donated by Local One IATSE, four tickets in the field level MVP section to the May 11th Yankees game vs. the Mariners donated by Lee Filters and Jessie Friend, and custom walnut pens and a bottle stopper laser etched with the BTS logo handcrafted by Shan Ayers.
In addition to the LRLR t-shirts, the Behind the Scenes Boutique will have note cards, pins, earrings, polo shirts, and tanks available for sale. ??All proceeds from the raffle, auction and boutique sales benefit Behind the Scenes, which provides financial assistance to entertainment technology professionals who are ill or injured.
