ROSEMONT, IL — The Rental and Staging Network (RSN), a network of geographically-diverse rental and staging companies with complete event capabilities, held its first Leadership Symposium August 3-5, 2011. The event, which took place at the Westin O’Hare here, was themed, “Growing and Managing Your Business Better,” and the 60 attendees included leaders at RSN’s 16 member companies.

A highlight of the event was a presentation from speaker Bob Prosen, who focused on tips for taking the complexity out of business execution and provided these business leaders with definitive tools for getting extraordinary bottom-line results.

The second day of the program featured break-out discussion groups for professionals who share similar roles such as principals, sales, operations and production managers. The event also featured a tour of Stage Right, one of RSN’s newest members, along with a discussion on logistics and operations.

Christie, Coolux International, Draper Inc., Nationwide and Roland Systems Group sponsored the event and provided information on their emerging technologies and products.

“We all have the common goal of improving our business and our value to our customers,” said Donald Guzauckas, Jr., president of RSN. “I know that each and every person came away from the program with something useful, whether it was just gathering powerfully fresh thoughts or the reinforcement of a known best practice,”
