NEW ORLEANS — RZI Lighting, based here, drew 350 entertainment industry technology pros to an open house event at Mardi Gras World on Aug. 3. The event served as a showcase for a variety of manufacturers and new products, including ETC (LED Source Four Leko), Elation Professional (Platinum Beam 15R Pro and LED panels), Chauvet (Q-Spot 560 LED moving lights and MVP LED displays), High End Systems (Technospot and TechnoArc) and LSC Lighting Systems (Clarity LX console), among others.
The event also featured workshops covering LED lighting design concepts (ETC), hoist maintenance and repair (Stagemaker), automated lighting and video (Elation), lasers (X-Laser) and a hands-on workshop covering entertainment electrics led by Richard Cadena.
