Sapsis Rigging Logs Busy Summer Season

Share this Post:

PHILADELPHIA – Sapsis Rigging, Inc. noted a record number of jobs that the company completed between Memorial Day and Labor Day this year, including eight theatre renovations, three new construction projects, five fall protection system installations, four special events projects and 26 inspections. "It was a challenge to stay ahead of each project, but the staff and crews were up to it," said Bill Sapsis, president. "They did great. The projects spanned nine states and the District of Columbia, with Oklahoma being the farthest away, and the inspections took place in 14 different states.  This made for some interesting logistics. Our teams racked up some serious frequent flier miles this summer, and we certainly kept the shipping department hopping."

The projects ranged from a new J-guide installation to a fall arrest system that included over 25 horizontal lifelines.  A new automation control system was installed in a concert venue, and new winches were installed in a university field house.  The special events took place in New York City, Jacksonville FL and Chateauville, VA.
