LITTLE ROCK, AR – Twenty-eight people were injured after a dispute escalated into gunfire within the Power Ultra Lounge at about 2:30 a.m. on July 1, according to reports. Police noted that 25 people were shot and three others sustained other injuries. Two were listed in critical condition but all were expected to survive.

Speaking to reporters, Little Rock police chief Kenton Buckner said investigators were looking at the probability of “multiple shooting suspects” in the incident, which took place at the rap concert as the headlining act, Memphis, TN-based Finese 2Tymes, a.k.a. Ricky Hampton, was taking a break. A video recording the incident indicated that more than two dozen shots were fired in an 11-second period, according to reports.

Along with Finese 2Tymes, performing acts included Slim Raww, AMP, O.P.F., Pikeboy, Purp Cobain and GME. The promotional poster for the event shows a picture of the headliner pointing a gun at the camera.

Hampton, 25, was arrested July 2 on charges that were unrelated to the Little Rock incident. The club was shut down in the aftermath of the violence under a criminal abatement ordinance.
