Solotech Garners CITT Supplier Achievement Award

LONDON, Ontario, Canada — Solotech Inc. received the CITT Supplier Achievement Award from the Canadian Institute of Theatre Technology (CITT). The award was presented Aug. 18 at a banquet during the conference held here. Solotech president Denis Lefrançois, pictured here, accepted the award. It is presented annually to the individual or company that has shown sustained commitment to providing excellent service and products to the Canadian cultural industries community.

Solotech is also celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2012. The company, launched in 1977, has grown under Lefrançois’ leadership and now employes more than 400 people full-time and more than 200 on a part-time basis.

The company’s staff and crew travel around the globe supporting tours for Bruce Springsteen, Jay-Z, Cher, Céline Dion, Bette Midler, Michael Bublé, the Cirque du Soleil, Britney Spears and André Rieu, among others.

The company also provides audio, video and lighting systems for board rooms, council chambers, theatres and auditoriums, arenas and stadiums, classrooms, television and recording studios, hospitality, retail and transportation for both private and government clients.
