MONTREAL – The technical services integration specialists of Solotech were tasked with implementing the technical upgrade of Cirque Éloize headquarters creative studios in the old Gare Dalhousie facilities. Obviously, any improvement would have to maintain the unique architectural features of the more than one hundred year old Berri Street building. Mathieu Taillon, a technical advisor with Solotech, advocated the use of over 30 different types of custom-made interconnect panels, discretely integrated and wired to the various racks and other patch bays, able to accept any kind of existing or future multi-media technology.

Safer and better looking, this type of installation also allows for greater creativity, something to be enjoyed by Cirque Éloize staffers and customers alike.

Equipment purchases for Cirque Éloize were put out to tender. The upgrade plan set forth by Solotech is a scalable project valued about $630,000, which allows the Cirque Éloize to realize it in increments. Solotech also had to revise the implementation schedule because unforeseen setbacks tightened the timetable. “We needed an expanded team onsite to complete everything within the very tight deadlines, but we had the necessary manpower, energy and resources the job required”, says Mathieu Taillon. Mr. Morency declares, “With these new technical capabilities built right into our studios, Cirque Éloize improved all at once its creative operations, its corporate rental offering and event packages”. He goes on: “These improvements make us more competitive and ready for whatever the future may bring”.
