NORTHFIELD, OH – Stage Research co-founder Carlton Guc put SFX and LightFactory software through its paces on two recent Ohio productions: A Christmas Carol, staged in Akron's Greystone Hall by the Actor's Summit; and Steel Magnolias, at the French Creek Nature Center in Sheffield Village, LaGrange, Ohio, by TrueNorth Cultural Arts. SFX creates soundscapes; LightFactory is software that brings lighting control board controls to a laptop computer. "It was fun to be involved in two quite different Ohio productions which have each become classics in their own right," said Guc, who credited both SFX and LightFactory for contributing to each production's success.
