TAIT, a global leader of culture-defining experiences, has announced the hiring of Dan Healey in the new role of Director, Technical Delivery. He will re-join TAIT to establish the strategic vision and continued growth for the department and a team of nearly 40 full-time technical directors.
Most recently, Dan has worked at Disney starting as a Senior Technical Director for Walt Disney Imagineering in 2014, where he later transitioned to Principal Technical Director for Disneyland Resorts in 2017 and eventually returned to Walt Disney Imagineering as a Principal Technical Director in 2020. In his most recent position, he led technical teams to deliver shows at various Disney resorts.
On this new transition, Dan Healey said “I’m incredibly proud of the shows, teams, and magical experiences we created as a team at Disney. As I move on to the next stage of my career, I’ll carry that same teamwork, precision, and passion into further developing technical direction at TAIT.”
Prior to joining Disney, Dan has several years’ experience working at TAIT, including as a Production Manager at Thinkwell, a Project Manager at Fisher Technical Services, and a Director of Project Management, Permanent Installations. In his previous time working for TAIT, he became familiarized with our standard for project delivery helping ensure a seamless transition into his new position.
