The New York Strip Steakhouse & Cabaret Lit with Anolis, Robe Fixtures

POMPANO BEACH, FL – Griffin Automation supplied and installed Anolis LEDs and Robe's new CityScape Xtreme exterior LED fixtures for the New York Strip Steakhouse & Cabaret. The venue, founded by Dennis DeGori, is a fusion of fine dining and adult cabaret. The venue's operators acted upon the recommendations of David Chesal from Robe Lighting Inc., who had worked with them on previous projects.

The lighting makes an impression with the bottle shelves behind the bars, lit with about 40 Anolis ArcLink 3 RGB units fitted beneath the shelves. Anolis ArcSource 7 RGBW down-lighters, meanwhile, are installed in the ceiling above the dining booths. These ArcLink and ArcSource fixtures are controlled via the PC based controller in the DJ booth, which also runs the dance floor lighting.

The venue also features 24 Robe StageQube 324s along the main room's back wall, which are fed content via a Madrix controller. Tom Griffin of Griffin Automation created some ambient video clips for the venue, which can also benefit from visuals in the Madrix library.

Griffin referred to Anolis as "definitely one of the best LED brands on the market right now." He added that he was "amazed" with the brightness of the new CitySkape Xtreme units.

It only took two of the LED floodlights to color the building's exterior, which measures close to 150 feet in length. The units are positioned in the parking lot pointing at the front of the building. They are set on a color-changing chase to draw attention to the venue.

The CitySkape Xtreme units feature 188 Luxeon K2 RGBW LEDs, silent operation with a convection cooling system, an IP 65 rating and a new combination of RGBW LED colors for a different quality of white light.
