LONDON —The Saturdays, an all-girl band formed with two former members of S Club 7 Juniors, generated four top 10 singles with their first album, Chasing Lights, and recently embarked on their first headlining tour of the U.K. supported by LD Vince Foster and a rig supplied by Bandit Lites. Called The Work Tour, Foster’s design gets a high-tech look with a maze of Versa Tubes at different angles and heights. MAC 2000 spots and washes, Atomic strobes, F 100s, DF 50s and lots of truss were all part of the brief for the tour. The rig is controlled by a Hog IPC and Catalyst System.
The crew headed by crew chief Nigel Julian includes Bandit board operator Matthew Jensen and lighting technician Dan Oswald. The tour manager is John Pryer while the production manager is Andrew Thornton.
