Robert Glowacki - Lighting Designer, TLS Productions Inc.

Robert Glowacki – Lighting Designer

Robert has been immersed in the technological revolution of lighting and its new ideas and innovations, and has utilized these to design one of a kind lighting environments. Between his real world experience and a degree in lighting design from Oakland University, Robert is capable of developing sharp and concise designs that can transform even the smallest space. Living in the heart of Detroit, he draws inspiration from his local surroundings and art.

At the age of 26, Robert has designed for companies such as Lexus, Allstate, JDRF, Faurecia, and Ford Motor Company, and is the current designer for the Detroit City Dance Festival, which debuted in the summer of 2013. Robert has also designed for Detroit-based, Dub Down, an electronic music company which produces new and cutting-edge shows in small spaces. During his education, Robert designed for numerous musicals such as Little Women, Falsettos Honk!, and The Cripple of Ishmaan, and has also designed for Oakland University’s Dance Department, as well as the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble.

Robert keeps up with the newest technologies the market has to offer, but isn’t afraid to throw it back to an old-school trick that still works; between large-scale shows to intimate gatherings, he provides nothing short of creating a visual world that will set the stage for you.
