MIDLAND, TX – Hundreds of students came from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Missouri and New Mexico to participate in the Region 6 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Design, Technology and Stage Management students had an opportunity to showcase their work and receive outside assessment by KCACTF respondents.

Since its inception, KCACTF has given more than 400,000 college theater students the opportunity to have their work critiqued, improve their dramatic skills and receive national recognition for excellence. More than 16 million theatergoers have attended approximately 10,000 festival productions nationwide.

“The festival was amazing, the work displayed was quite fantastic and the students were very talented and responsive. We appreciate the support that TOMCAT has provided to make this festival a reality and a rewarding experience for our students,” stated Professor Jon Young, KCACTF Design/Technologies Co-Vice Chair Region 6 and workshop presenter.
