ORLANDO, FL – For his True Colors world tour, an Aug. 6-Nov. 28 trek in support of his second studio album that goes by the same name, Russian-German musician Zedd turned to Pyrotecnico for a special effects assist. Along with custom pyrotechnic spinners, close proximity pyrotechnics, flames, cryogenics, confetti and streamers, Pyrotecnico used a total of 9 high power KVANT laser systems for the tour. They also utilized Pangolin’s Beyond software and FB3QS hardware to design and control the RGB Spectrum series lasers.
More details from Pyrotechnico (www.pyrotecnico.com):
The tour spans cities across the globe from Singapore to Los Angeles to London and has been making international headlines, for the number of people attending the events.
In addition to his hit songs, Zedd is intentionally debuting never-before-heard songs during the tour so his audience can “live” the songs as he intends – through an intense “True Colors” visual experience. To bring this vision to life, Pyrotecnico was brought on board to amplify that experience with their innovative lasers, pyro, and special FX.
