GLASGOW, Scotland — A woman attending the March 25 Adele concert at the 13,000-capacity SSE Hydro arena in Scotland was hit and injured by a length of chain that dropped from above during the show. The injured attendee was taken to the hospital “as a precaution,” according to a spokesperson for the venue. The chain that dropped appeared to be still hanging from the rigging after the accident, according to Facebook photos. Adele, who kept performing her two-hour set, unaware of the accident, found out about the mishap after the show.

“I’m so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight,” she tweeted later. The tour, which began March 1, continued with a second concert at the venue March 26 before moving on to a show in Birmingham, England March 29. The tour’s U.K./European leg continues through June 15, then travels through North America from July 5 through November 16.
