BRUSSELS, Belgium – ArKaos, a provider of technology for live visual performances, has been instrumental in the Centenary Celebrations of Tsinghua University, Beijing.
Tsinghua University, China’s school of higher education and internationally recognized as the first or second best university in mainland China, is well known in China for its famous alumni, such as the President, Hu Jingtao, the Nobel Price winner, Dr. Yang Zhenning, and many other scientists and writers.
To mark 2011 as the centennial anniversary for Tsinghua, a ceremony was organized on April 24th in Beijing, which was attended by most of the Chinese political leaders.
Sha Xiaolan, a well-known lighting and stage designer from China, contributed to the celebration by setting up a large stage show driven by ShowPower’s MTL media servers running ArKaos MediaMaster Pro.
It was the first time Xiaolan used the new MTL servers and he said he has been impressed by their powerful capability. He installed 12 of these media servers and eight beamers to cover the 150m long projection area.
