LONDON – Coemar's Infinity M fixtures made their theatrical début at the Adelphi Theatre in London with Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies. Paule Constable is using Infinity M moving head projectors supplied by White Light for the production, which is set to run until Oct. 23, 2010. Chosen for high output and compact dimensions, the Infinity M fixtures are said to be comparable to 2000W fixtures in power, but consume half the energy and occupy only as much space as a 250W projector.
Featuring a modular design, the fixtures are also touted for their ease of staging and transport, ArtNet control, digital ballast and display (which can be remote controlled via DMX 512 and multi-lamp design housing both 700W and 575W FastFit bulbs.
Love Never Dies incorporates the ACL model of Infinity M projectors. They can generate light beams with dimensions adjustable from 7° to 3°; produce rotating "aerial" effects via the beam control, are effective for backlighting; and offer strobe, wood light, moon flower, cinema and frost effects.
