PARIS — The Eagles of Death Metal were able to return to Paris for a Feb. 16 concert performance at the Olympia music venue — free to survivors of the terrorist attack at the Bataclan on Nov. 13, 2015. But their 23-date “Nos Amis” tour of Europe, planned from Feb. 13 to early March, was cut short after singer and guitarist Jesse Hughes sustained a torn tendon in his finger.
The band member noted on Facebook that he was “devastated” that the injury cut short what had been a “life-changing return to Europe.” The next scheduled performance for the band is March 9 in Bogata, Colombia.
After a tour through South America, the band will travel to New Zealand and Australia, returning to North America in late April for a run of shows through the end of August. Their next scheduled visit to Europe is for festivals at Reading and Leeds in the U.K. in late August.
