Eurovision Song Contest Makes Use of LSC Gear

OSLO, Norway – For the 2010 European Song Contest, staged in Oslo's Telenor Arena, the technical crew used LSC's TDS 48-channel touring dimmers, e24 dimming systems and DMX distribution. The event was hosted and broadcast by NRK. Suggesting that a maXim M lighting desk, as shown in the photograph here, could control a show the size of the European Song Contest might be a stretch, particularly since the small range of maXims can only control 512 DMX slots.

But the NRK was aware that the maXim has a multitude of uses, and ended up using a maXim M (supplied by Multitechnic in Oslo) for stage motion control, drapery, silks and drop downs.

The maXim also controlled a Kinesys K2, Chain Master products and six Wahlberg DMX-controlled winches, Wahlberg curtain rollups and three DMX Beamslides.
