FIFA World Cup Events Kept Stageline Busy

L'ASSOMPTION, Quebec, Canada – Long before the first vuvuzela stadium horns accompanied cheers in South Africa for the world's best soccer teams, Stageline mobile stages were called in for various events related to the FIFA World Cup.

Stageline products have been used in Africa for the past five years, with the company's SL100, SL260, SL320 and Promobile models all deployed from Nigeria and Mozambique to South Africa.

The world's biggest sporting event kicked demand for the company's stages up even further. The mobile stages were used, for example, to support the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, and other Stageline units played a part in soccer-related events around the world.

And if Stageline stages are designed for land transport, that's not the only way they can travel. One of Stageline's SAM550 units, which weighs close to 30 tons, was once air-freighted from the U.K. to Nigeria for a major concert event.
