LONDON – Float4 Interactive was commissioned for a third consecutive time by Invest in Canada to create and produce two digital installations in collaboration with Christie Digital for the 2012 Olympic Games. The installations are displayed July 27-Aug. 15 at the Canada House in London. Canada House is part of a government initiative to create branding for Canada and to stimulate foreign investment options.

The first installation features a 144-inch diagonal screen that is fully interactive through Float4’s RealMotion technology. The installation supports interactive capabilities including touch and 3D gesture support. It also allows a live television feed to showcase key moments of the 30th Olympiads, as well as a PS3 video game produced by a Canadian gaming company.

The second installation, the “Totem,” consists of an 11-ft high digital canvas welcoming visitors at the entrance. Composed of 37 Christie MicroTiles, it displays a custom video that showcases various aspects of Canadian culture. Float4’s BlackStone processor was used in the content delivery that required a total resolution equivalent to three times HD.
