KERKRADE, The Netherlands – Highlite International B.V., a global distributor of lighting and audio gear, recently joined Philips' LED luminaires and retrofit bulbs license program. "As a licensee under the license program, we get access to a large portfolio of Philips' patented LED control technology," said Huub De la Haije, Highlite president and founder. "This allows us to offer our customers LED luminaires with state-of-the-art technology at an attractive price. Both our lighting brands – Showtec for special light equipment for events, live acts and stage installations and Artecta for architectural lighting products – will benefit from the agreement with Philips."
