ROCHESTER, Australia — A woman attending a small music festival here who was found dead in her tent Jan. 26 was identified as Katie Louise Broadbent, 35, according to reports. She had worked as a lighting technician at several Melbourne area venues. John Alexander Forbes, 24, was arrested on suspicion of driving over her tent in the early morning while intoxicated and causing her death.

Along with her work lighting shows staged at the Kingston Arts Centre, the Clocktower Theatre and the theatre at Monash University, all in or near Melbourne, Broadbent, a resident of Yarraville, also worked as a DJ and at local pubs. She was one of about 350 attending the private music festival, titled Got Milk, a techno-music oriented event staged privately on a Rochester-area farm.

Friends planned to convene at the Standard Hotel in Fitzroy, where Broadbent had worked, on Jan. 31. A funeral in Adelaide, Broadbent’s home town, was set to take place Feb. 4.
