Finishing another great season and taking out the 2014 NBL Championship, continuing on their amazing run of 28 straight playoff appearances.

Mega Vision Sound and Lighting were supporting the team throughout the whole 2013-2014 season, creating great production for every single match they played at their home Perth Arena called ‘The Jungle’. The lighting rig consisted of 12 Robe Pointes, 8 Robin MMX Spots and 8 Robin 800 LEDWashes, all controlled by ChamSys MQ 100 Pro control desk.

The 14,846 seat Perth Arena is the largest and newest venue currently in use in the NBL, so using extremely bright and punchy lights was crucial for this type of the venue. The Robe Pointes and MMX Spots were used to creating dynamic effects during pre game entertainment, the team run ons, line up and break times and also lighting up the cheering audience. The eight Robin 800 LED Washes easily washed the whole court into deep saturated colours creating great atmosphere of the matches.

The Perth Wildcats are the highest-drawing and most successful club in the league. Since 1987 the team have appeared in all 28 NBL finals, which is an achievement unmatched in major Australian professional sports and betters all the major American sports as well aside from two National Hockey League clubs.
