PRAGUE, Czech Republic – Milos Structural Systems is in the final stages of completing a new 60,000 square foot building at its complex near Prague. The new facility was expected to be fully operational from the start of 2010. Used to expand and streamline the current manufacturing process, Milos said the building will help it meet the demand for products and maintain customer expectations for a quick turnaround.
The additional space will also help the company keep projects efficient and create more space for the construction of special and custom orders. It is also expected to provide the space and technologies required to deal with all manufacturing needs in-house.
The building includes a large cutting workshop and automatic welding for the full ranges of trussing and roofing, the production of circles and other shapes, and special projects. It also includes the Milos Design Center, a key focal point for the company's worldwide operation.
