ABU DHABI, UAE – Robe launched Robe UAE to help distribute and market their Robe and Anolis brands in the Middle East. The new office is in the Makateb Business Centre, Abu Dhabi. "We chose Abu Dhabi because business for events and shows here is very strong and expanding at the moment, and we want to be where the buzz is," said Elie Battah, Robe's Middle East regional sales manager, and the main point of contact for the UAE operation, who stresses the importance of having a face-to-face relationship with business contacts in the Middle East.
Robe gear has been available in the UAE for some time, but the company saw the need to support its increasingly complex range of products with facilities set up for training seminars and technical demonstrations backed by a dedicated technical sales team.
Along with the company's Digital series, LEDs, Plasma series, ROBIN fixtures, Ropix LED screens, fog machines and hazers, Anolis, Robe's architectural LED lighting sister company, also has a growing array of fixtures for indoor and outdoor use.
