LONDON – After scoring the #52 slot in the Microsoft-sponsored Sunday Times Tech Track 100 last year, which tallies the 100-fastest-growing private technology companies in the U.K., Stage Technologies scored a #48 on the newspaper's International Track 100 in July 2010, which compares private British companies with the fastest-growing international sales.

Stage Technologies cited several instances of its work abroad, with significant activity in Las Vegas – not just for staged extravaganzas like by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but for opera houses and educational performance venues as well. The company's international growth can also be attributed to its expansion at other venues from Macau to Perth, Australia, where the stage engineering firm is working on the new Heath Ledger theatre.

Stage Technologies also noted that its support and maintenance department keeps busy with service contracts and maintenance programs for other venues around the world, and the company, which merged with Delstar Engineering, a design and manufacturing business, in 2009, also has a rental department that has provided flying equipment for performers such as Pink and Kylie Minogue, and for international touring productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins and other shows.
