NOVI SAD, Serbia — The four-day EXIT festival drew more than 100,000 to the Petrovardin Fortress on the banks of the River Danube to hear Jamiroquai, Nick Cave, Pulp, James Zabiela, Fedde le Grand, Underworld, Marco Cariola, Beirut, Laibach and other artists perform. Studio Berar, who has supported the festival since it began in 2000, once again included fixtures from Robe in the rig for two of the larger stages.

Along with lighting, video and sound, Studio Berar provided four LDs for the event: Goran Kravi?, Marko Maleševi?, Radoslav Mihalek and Milos Eki?, who lit the three largest stages at the festival — two of which featured the Robe fixtures, using a variety of Avolites consoles for control. Mom?ilo Berar and Emil Berar project managed and coordinated the event for Studio Berar.

Robe ColorWash 575E AT Zooms — 70 in all — served as the workhorse fixtures for the main stage. The crew also deployed Studio Berar’s new Robe Robin 300 Beams at the festival for the first time, using 12 of the fixtures in the Dance Arena. The designers credited the Robe gear for their pan and tilt movements, bright output, compact size, versatility, reliability and for the quality of Robe’s support.
