ISTANBUL — The inaugural TRT Music Awards, which honored Turkey’s musicians, singers and music productions, was staged at the Lütfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre. Elit Light & Sound Technologies provided Robert Juliat 714SX 2.5kW profile spots to light the Istanbul Music and Jazz Orchestra and the Istanbul Chamber Orchestra.
Serdar Kastas of Gramofon, LD for the TRT Awards, credited the RJ fixtures for the quality of their tungsten light, the homogeneous spread of light without lamp shadows or hotspots, and also their zoom, focus, ergonomics and cooling system.
“Good lighting brands enable designers to relax, and good quality brands are chosen by good lighting designers,” Kastas said. “Robert Juliat is such a brand.”
Kastas added that Robert Juliat’s Aledin LED profile spot, launched in 2010 and joined by the recently-released 85W Aledin 330 LED Wash, were “very exciting” developments.
