UDDEVALLA, Sweden – Wireless Solution Sweden AB named CORE Lighting of UK as the latest OEM partner to build W-DMX into their products. The technology will be installed directly at their London facility. CORE has developed a range of battery-powered LED lighting products for the temporary events market, for indoor and outdoor use. With the addition of W-DMX, these compact, battery-driven fixtures are cable free.
W-DMX is featured in CORE's POINT20 and POINT30 Indoor/Outdoor Units and the POINT30 IP65 Outdoor Unit. Key Features include 2,500 lumens with full white; Red, Green, Blue + White LEDs for color depth & efficiency; 20-24h battery life exceeding 12h for most applications; W-DMX control with upgradeable master/slave; Upgradeable WiFi remote controlled operation; and Minimal maintenance with no fan & built-in self-test. The units have a stainless finish for indoor applications and rugged design for outdoor – both designed for repeated rentals.
CORE fixtures have been used at various large-scale events – both indoor and outdoor – including the Glastonbury festival. One of the more notable uses is during the Cancer Research UK's Shine Event, a 41-kilometre walk for charity through Manchester's city center and parks at night.
Rather than light 41-kilometres of trees along the pathway, CORE POINT30 IP65 Outdoor Units will be moved in blocks from sections where walkers have passed to upcoming segments, reducing the total number of units required.
