MELBOURNE, Australia – Dave Haus, LD for Wolfmother's New Moon Rising tour, chose LSC's Clarity console. Haus, whose company, Prodigy Lighting Design, is based in the U.S., came across a Clarity desk while programming a live TV broadcast in Colorado. "I found it to be very intuitive and easy to program" said Haus. "So much so, that after the gig, I immediately contacted the U.S. distributor, Applied Electronics, and purchased my very own VX20 Wing and software."
On arriving in the Europe with the Wolfmother Tour, Haus added, the Clarity console enabled him to combine the touring fixtures with local house rigs in less time.
"Clarity's easy patching and powerful cloning functionality really works well," Haus noted. "Turning up at a different venue each night, we'd have the rig patched and ready to go in no time at all. It is an extremely versatile and powerful console."
Wolfmother, now on the final leg of their world tour in Australia, are opening for AC/DC's Black Ice world tour.
