LONDON — Martin Professional has unveiled their Martin RADAR, an RDM communicational protocol and information system powered by Wybron’s Infogate and Infostore technology, at PLASA 09. The team-up was a natural one, said Wybron CEO Keny Whitright. “Martin has the breadth and the reach to really start pushing application of Infostore, and we’re really pleased that Wybron’s technology was able to offer so much to them.”
The RADAR real-time monitoring system is designed to let users be proactive, foreseeing problems before a breakdown occurs.
Infogate collects feedback information from RDM-compatible gear in an entire venue and pools it centrally, where an observer can see error messages and know what gear is in need of repair.
Infostore takes this a step further, allowing an observer to oversee RDM-compatible gear from a number of venues, receiving real-time reports from lighting rigs anywhere in the world.
Wybron also updated its Moiré Gobo Library iPhone application which now includes Goboland, InLight Grayscale and GAM Halftone gobos. This increases the number of available gobos by 1,500, to over 5,000 A-size gobos.
