A.C. Lighting announced that Walter Glover III has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Product Development. Glover brings over three decades of expertise in the film, television, and entertainment lighting industries. His impressive career spans roles as a Gaffer, Director of Photography, and Lighting Designer, with projects spanning five continents. His wealth of experience and innovative spirit make him the ideal choice to drive product development at A.C. Lighting.
In his new role, Glover will work closely with Gaffers, Directors of Photography, and Lighting Designers to develop innovative new products that allow them to push their creative limits. Glover has been instrumental in helping manufacturers develop and launch products that resonate with film & broadcast markets. He played a critical role in helping to establish the Chroma-Q Studio Force and Luminex networking products in the film & broadcast markets. His role in helping to shape the design and development of the recently introduced Avenger Banshee is an example of Walter’s ability to translate the wants and wishes of the film & broadcast community into must-have creative tools.

Glover’s passion for lighting runs in his blood, having grown up under the mentorship of his father, Walter Glover Sr., a veteran D.P. and Lighting Designer. His career began at Production Lighting Systems, where he progressed from repairing and building equipment to managing shop operations and leading teams of over 30 employees.
Throughout his career, Glover has combined technical expertise with visionary leadership, staying at the forefront of lighting innovation. His extensive hands-on experience and strategic approach will be invaluable in shaping the future of A.C. Lighting’s offerings and continuing to elevate the film and broadcast industries.
