INDIANAPOLIS — Tway Lifting Products, founded in 1945, has been supplying its steel cables to other companies in the entertainment sector in recent years. This year, veteran rigger Albert West has been overseeing the company’s new push with a new line of products aimed at meeting the needs of entertainment production and rigging companies.
“From design to sales, Mr. West is our expert in this product line,” noted Peter Hansen, Tway Lifting Products president. West, a rigger journeyman member of IATSE Local 30 (Indianapolis), has worked at arenas and theaters across North America and Europe. He continues to work on various gigs during the weekends and served as production manager on Bad Company’s 2016 tour.
