BURBANK, CA — ARRI named Ryan Fletcher Technical Marketing Engineer, a new position. Fletcher’s main responsibilities include customer liaison and technical support for ARRI’s LED systems and products for industrial lighting applications. “I aim to help ARRI introduce novel, innovative lighting technologies to the entertainment lighting market, and maintain close ties with those who work in this field to ensure that ARRI develops the right tools for their needs,” Fletcher said. “Expanding our capabilities in industrial lighting is another important goal, and I aim to support customers in their use of ARRI lighting systems for technically demanding industrial applications.”
Fletcher previously worked for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California for the U.S. Department of Energy. Since 2005, he served as a consultant to ARRI with product research, development and evaluation of competing products. He is a graduate of Stanford University, where he majored in mechanical engineering with a minor in theatrical lighting. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT).
